Workshops @ Mrs Macs

We have lots of workshops going on at Mrs McGregor’s.  Steph comes every Tuesday morning to run a variety of crafts classes, she can turn her hand to many different crafty pursuits.  We also have Thursday afternoon workshops on a theme, February was all about upcycling and March is all about flowers.

Upcycled Jeans

using the legs of old pairs of jeans, we are upcycling and making little zipped bags with a pretty decorative touch.

all materials and equipment supplied including refreshments

Felt Bear

Stitch this cute little felt bear in today’s workshop. Suitable for younger crafters but please stay with and supervise your under 14’s.

 

Infinity scarf

Learn how to make your own infinity scarf! No more scarves getting blown away in the wind. Make for yourself or give away as super presents. Use up scraps or go for your best fabrics.  Use and existing scarf that you love but it’s annoying when it keeps falling off.

All materials and refreshment supplied

Coasters

Use scraps of fabric to make these clever coasters. Choose everyday or Christmas themed. All materials and equipment are provided, plus refreshments.

Make an apron

We will use shop stash to make ourselves an apron in today’s workshop.

We can use oilcloth or make a reversible fabric apron with or without a pocket, the choice is yours.

If you have special fabric you would like to use then do bring it along, otherwise you are welcome to bust the upstairs stash and help me reduce and recycle!

Everything provided, just bring yourself.

Beginner’s sewing

Want to learn how to sew? Get your sewing mojo back? or just increase your sewing confidence?

Book your workshop now!  Small groups, patient and encouraging tutor plus coffee and biscuits, what’s not to love?

All equipment and materials provided, so if you haven’t even got a sewing machine then we have everything covered.

Children’s Pyjama bottoms

Make little shorts or pyjama bottoms from recycled fabrics, shirts or old sheets and duvet covers!

If you have some of your own fabrics or shirts you would like to use then do bring them with you, otherwise you are welcome to use shop stash.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some sewing experience alike.
